There is one thing that we all have in common: Time. Everything else is different. We have been raised by our parents differently, brought up in a different culture, eaten different foods..essentially lived different lives and go to different deaths. There is even the argument that our perspectives, for example, colors, could be different. (We might both call something green, but you may in fact see something different than me, though we both have the same name for it) Now one might say, even with time then, there is a difference, for we each have different time on earth before we die. However, this does not make time different, only our lives different, or the time of our deaths different.
Time is universal. It was a thing that humans created and is the same for everyone. We each have the same 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in a hour, 24 hours in a day, 365 days in a year. Thus it is how we use time, that makes all the difference.
